Our parish has two houses of worship, both of which are well used but neither of which, on their own, can provide for the full parish needs without some type of investment. The Facilities Study process is an essential piece of our continued work of amalgamation and parish renewal. We continue to work toward becoming a community of missionary disciples, and we must also continue to evaluate if our two buildings can adequately and feasibly serve the needs of our parish well into the future.
Facilities Study Prayer
Lord Jesus,
As we undergo this Facilities Study Process, we humbly pray for your guidance and grace.
Make us good stewards of the resources you have given us. Teach us to discern with wisdom and detachment God’s Will for our parish.
When those in our community experience grief in the face of the loss, let us be supportive and caring.
Give us the courage to go where You call us, and the sensitivity to do Your Will with charity in our hearts.
Help us to see, even in the depths of sadness, the seeds of the resurrection.
Surround us with your loving arms so that we will be comforted, strengthened, and encouraged by the mission you have set before us: to help all people Come Encounter Christ, Joyfully Share his love, and Go Make Disciples.
May this challenge be an opportunity to love each other more sincerely and to draw closer to you as we face the needs of those we serve in our broader community.
Renew in us the apostolic zeal to reach the lost and serve the least.
Blessed Virgin, as the mother of Christ, you are also the mother of Christ the King Parish, pray for us, that love with reign in our hearts.
