To prepare for a wedding at Christ the King Parish, please note the requirements below. At the bottom of the page is a form that must be downloaded and filled out.
Requirements for Wedding
1. Copy of baptismal certificate (6 months prior to the wedding date)
2. Confirmation Certificate (if confirmed)
3. Civil Marriage License (3 months prior de wedding date)
– (Death certificate of spouse if dead).
– (Annulment or divorce certificate if there was a previous marriage).
4. Marriage Course certificate.
5. Names/Addresses of Witnesses
6. Name and place of birth of father
7. Maiden name and place of birth of mother
6. Donation to the Church – $150 (or more if you wish)
7. Stipend for the Priest – $100 (or more if you wish)
For Mixed Marriage (Marriage between a Catholic and non-Catholic)
1. Signing of Affidavit to certify that the non-Catholic has never been married
2. Dispensation for the Catholic party.
3. Signing of an undertaking by the Catholic party to bring up their children in the catholic faith.
