Knights of Columbus (KoC)

We are a family-oriented group of Catholic men taking pride in anything we can do to help others. Active in church and community we support our Sunday school programs, music ministry, ALPHA, and hospitality. We are seen assisting with weddings, brunches, catered meals, hosted events, barbecues, and children’s annual picnics. We work closely with CWL, and the Society of St Vincent de Paul, and we respond to help others and local charities in need as best we can. Our Knights are always working to find ways to financially support outreach ministries, parishioners, and community members in need while keeping the confidentiality of our benefactors in check.

Current Council:

Over the Columbian Year 2023-2024, the parish’s two Knights of Columbus Councils, Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Thomas More, met on several occasions and, by a unanimous vote, agreed to merge and form one, new, stronger, and unified council in Christ the King Parish.

Following the meetings, a request was made to the State and Supreme Councils for approval to merge the two councils per Supreme By-laws.

Our request was brought forward at the April 2024 Supreme Council Meeting of the Board of Directors in New Haven, Connecticut. A motion to allow the merger was approved by a vote of the board with the agreement to a new name ” Christ the King Council # 13987 “.

Our two councils met on June 5th, 2024 at a Joint General Meeting for our New Council, Christ the King 13987 electing the slate of officers for the 2024 – 2025 year.

We congratulate the officers-elect for the 2024-2025 Columbian Year.

Effective July 1st, 2024.
